Cookies and storage

Only what miYear needs to work.

miYear does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. It uses essential sign-in storage and a local draft safeguard.

Essential sign-in cookies

miyear_session · up to 30 days
Keeps an invited user securely signed in. It is HTTP-only and cannot be read by page scripts.
miyear_google_auth · up to 10 minutes
Protects the temporary Google sign-in journey against tampering and is removed when that attempt finishes.

These cookies are necessary for a sign-in service you request, so miYear does not use a consent banner for them.

Drafts on your device

When you type a quick entry, miYear temporarily keeps the unsent draft in your browser's local storage so it is not lost if the page closes. It stays on that device until you save or clear it, or remove the site's browser data.

App files and caching

The installable app may cache ordinary interface files so miYear opens reliably. This cache is not used to follow you across other websites.

No advertising or analytics tracking

miYear does not currently set advertising, behavioural-tracking or analytics cookies. If that changes, this notice will be updated and non-essential storage will not be used until any legally required choice has been offered.
